Apple Creek

The Apple Creek Band was formed in 1995 by Buck Riggs and Randy Greeson and performed together until 2005. At that time, the band decided to take a break and work with friends and family on other projects. Apple Creek was only months away from getting back together in the studio and playing again, but Buck had a higher calling and went home to be with the Lord. Although Pam, Randy, and Tommy still contine to be active in music, Apple Creek never performed again.

Buck Riggs and Randy Greeson were friends for many years and played music together often. After meeting Pam Spence at a church fall festival, Randy and Pam began dating and Pam soon became the third musician in the group, performing with Buck and Randy. Pam and Randy married and with the addition of Tommy Currin Jr. on drums, Apple Creek became a band.

Many people ask what the logo of the apple with the lightning bolt means. The apple represents all of us, the fruit of the Spirit. The lightning bolt represents the power of God in the fruit of the Spirit.

Music

Studio Albums

Apple Creek released three studio albums to the public. Two were Country Gospel and one was a Christmas Instrumental. Songs from all of the albums were played on radio stations throughout the country. Several were charted by Heaven's Country with "I'm So Unworthy" staying in the top 10 for six weeks. The Christmas at Apple Creek album is still being played on BBN and other Christian radio stations.

Apple Creek Rocks

Before Apple Creek became a Country Gospel Band, they performed music of the 50's and 60's throughout the area. Here are some old studio and loose cuts from that time.

Lost Cuts

As with any band, some cuts never make it to the album and some are still a work in progress. Here are some of the loose Gospel cuts that never made it.
